Ideally located five miles southwest of this region’s main town Santiago de Puriscal, where all major services can be found: supermarkets, banks, specialty stores, hardware and construction supply stores, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, a variety of eateries, a regional hospital, and more.

A local farmers’ market is held every weekend to supply fresh vegetables, greens, and delicious tropical fruits of all varieties and a favorite weekly meeting spot for locals and expats alike to share a cup of coffee or a pupusa.

In an hour's drive or bus ride from Puriscal, you can find shopping centers, international cuisine, micro-breweries, private and public hospitals, museums, art galleries, live music, movie theaters, and the lively vibe of the capital city San José. The international airport, Juan Santamaria, is also just one hour away. 

 

The house is constructed with cement block and steel in compliance with Costa Rica’s strict seismic codes. Eco-friendly roof layered with steel and attractive recycled plastic tiles provides excellent heat and sound insulation, 1100 square feet under roof with exquisite views from all rooms.

The floors are tiled throughout with 24” high quality porcelain tiles. The floor plan includes a 32-foot main living area that runs the width of the house from east to west. Two bedrooms each with ample 6-foot closets, and spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, 7-feet tiled walls and custom-made medicine cabinet.

There are cleaning and linen closets, and a large pantry with access to an attic storage area via a pull-down stepladder.

The external doors are made of solid termite-resistant wood native of the region. All windows have bronze-tinted glass and screens. Next to the house is the carport, 20 x 13 ft cement-floored area roofed with the same tiles as the house.
 
Water and electricity service is provided by national and local companies, internet is provided by Kolbi, and Starlink can also be accessed in the area.

The villa sits on just over an acre of land in a 20-acre gated community shared with only six other exclusive homes that are conveniently situated for privacy. The community shares ownership of extensive fruit orchards, coffee from the property’s organic coffee plantation, and a 7-acre nature reserve designed with trails, landscaped with beautiful plants, flowers and tropical trees that give a park-like ambiance daily attracting abundance of birds and wildlife.

Another convenience and asset of this gorgeous property is that it comes fully furnished! No need to ship in an expensive container or purchase new items.

Also included are a 16-cubic foot Frigidaire fridge, Whirlpool chest freezer and 14 kg Whirlpool washing machine - all less than a year old - 42” TCL wall-mounted television with a Sony Sound Bar and bass speaker, Canon Pixma printer, various standard and table lamps, and house cleaning equipment, including a Prolux Electrolux vacuum cleaner.
